Mobile File Transfer is an application for professional photographers to transfer photographed images to FTP, FTPS, or SFTP servers via mobile devices.
Regarding the termination of Mobile File Transfer service
“Mobile file transfer” is going to be replaced to new service “Content Transfer Professional”.

To customers who purchased via App Store or Google Play
「Mobile File Transfer」 subscription auto renewal will be phased out, and the app cannot be used after the subscription period.
Due to the discontinuation of auto-renewal, customers using the subscription on Google Play will receive an email from Google with the subject line “Your Canon Mobile File Transfer subscription will be canceled.” Please be aware of this.

To customers who purchased via Canon Imaging App Service Plans
For those who are subscribing to “Mobile File Transfer for Android Monthly (31-day) Plan” and  “Mobile File Transfer for Android Annual (365-day) Plan”, you can continue to use “Mobile File Transfer” until the service ends. Also, your current plan is going to be switched to “Content Transfer Professional” automatically. If you wouldn‘t like to be switched to “Content Transfer Professional”, please cancel your subscription from here manually.
For those who  purchased business plans, after August 20, 2024, you will not be able to purchase “[For Business] Mobile File Transfer for Android Annual (365-day) Plan” and  “[For Business] Mobile File Transfer for iOS Annual (365-day) Plan”. If you wiliest to continue to use the equivalent service, please switch to Content Transfer Professional after the end of your contract term manually. The plans won't be switched automatically.

  • Transfer camera images to mobile devices.
  • Upload camera images to FTP, FTPS, or SFTP servers.
  • "Auto transfer" for capturing and transferring images captured by the camera as they are, "Filter transfer" for transferring images based on set conditions, and "Select images to transfer" for transferring images by selecting specific images from the images in the camera are possible.
  • Metadata, such as the photographer's name and image license information, can be added to images based on standards established by the IPTC (International Press Telecommunications Council).
  • For images to be transferred to FTP, SFTP, or FTPS servers, voice memos and IPTC metadata can be added in the application.

Important Notes
  • If application does not operate properly, try again after shutting down the application.
  • The Delete Image on Camera Function in Camera Connect cannot be used on terminals installed with both this application and Camera Connect.
  • When deleting images stored on the camera (including any stored on inserted storage media) you must delete the images either by using the camera itself or by uninstalling this application on the terminal in question and using the Delete Image on Camera Function in Camera Connect.
  • To use all the features, you need to subscribe to a paid plan.
